The laboratory is accredited by SINAL , the national Body for the accreditation of testing laboratories. The accreditation certifies the technical competence of the personnel, the use of adequate instrumentation, the impartiality of the testing personnel and of the technical judgements from the laboratory.The accreditation, in general, certifies the compliance of the organization with the managerial and technical requirements of UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17025.
SINAL accreditation is recognized :

• in the states of European Community and of EFTA in virtue of the mutual recognition agreement (MLA) signed by SINAL and the other accreditation Bodies members of EA association (European co-operation for Accreditation)
• all over the world in virtue of the international agreement of multilateral mutual recognition (ILAC arrangement) signed by SINAL and the accreditation Bodies members of ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Co-operation).
