October 24 th 2006: CSI INVITES YOU TO THE 5TH TOPIC OF SHELF LIFE

On October 24th 2006, the 5th Topic of Shelf Life, fifth meeting of the formative programme “Topics of Shelf Life” organized by CSI, in cooperation with GSICA, will be held.
The meeting entitled “The Shelf Life of meat and fish products” brings into focus the problems of these food families and will provide, through some examples of packaging solutions for meat, delicatessen and fish, the most effective approach to improve the quality of packaged foods. During the day, moments of theoretical formation and other more explanatory ones will alternate, where the packaging industry will present the last achievements of research and innovation.
The meeting will be held in Bollate, at CSI’s seat.

MEETING "QUALITY OF FOOD PACKAGE "

On November 29th, at CSI, an important meeting entitled "Quality of Food Package" will take place.
The event is the CSI answer to the request of food and packaging Companies to acquire the most complete methodology to define, measure and evacuate the fundamental aspects of a food package , either technical,normative or functional..
The meeting will take place in Bollate CSI’s seat having recourse to both the seminar facilities and the laboratories.

NEW ANALYTICAL METHODS FOR FOOD PACKAGING

CSI puts at disposal of food and packaging Companies validated methods for the search and the quantification in simulants and in oily and fatty foods of “critical” additives such:
- Antistatic agents
- Polymeric plasticizers (e.g. various types ofi polyadipates, etc.)
- ESBO
The testing service,rapid and economically aligned with other specific migration tests, is immediately at disposal.
